April Marshall

I’m a developer, designer, creative technologist, and professional problem solver with more than 20 years of experience building things for the web and figuring out why other things refuse to behave.

My career has taken me through web development, UX/UI, email and CRM, creative direction, digital design, accessibility, and more. I’ve worked with organizations ranging from small nonprofits to major brands, including Hallmark, Sprint, T-Mobile, JE Dunn, Children’s Mercy, the State of Kansas, and others.

The common thread through all of it is pretty simple: I like solving problems and making complicated things easier for people.

I’m comfortable moving between code, design, strategy, and conversation. I can dig into a technical issue, translate it into normal human language, work with a team to find the right solution, and keep learning when the answer isn’t immediately obvious.

I care deeply about accessibility and user experience because digital work isn’t really about screens. It’s about the people trying to accomplish something on the other side of them.
